Now Recruiting for Store Manager - sorry no longer available

We have a Manager Position available for a target driven professional with experience in retail management.  At present this is a one year contract, but could lead to a further contract. 

 

Hours:  Full-time 5 days per week between Monday to Saturday plus Sundays on a rotational basis (paid as over-time)

 

The ideal candidate should have:

 

·          A minimum of 5 years experience in retail

·          Managed a retail shop floor / concession independently or held a responsible position in one for a period of two years

·          Ability to train, performance manage and motivate sales staff positively

·          You will be an energetic and blubbly salesperson  with a proven track record in increasing sales

·          Be able to prioritise and organise your workload

·          excellent customer service skills and experience of handling and dealing with complaints

·          The ability to develop a good rapport with customers is essential

·          An interest in make-up or special effects and a willingness to learn more

·          well versed with product displays

·          Ability to lead personnel, communicate and motivate!


Responsibilities include customer service, stock management, training and development of staff and maintaining the cleanliness and safety standards of the stores.

You will be required to report to the Director of the Company and deliver exceptional sales performance.

Ideally you will be currently working as a junior level manager for a very customer focused retailer in a very fast paced store and you will be looking for a new career challenge.

Salary: Circa £18, 000
